Khor Al Zubair (KAFZA), Iraq
SKA Energy’s new storage facility is strategically located at Khor Al Zubair Port in southern Iraq. The facility is capable 
of storing and distributing 20,000 metric tons of fuel. This state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind to be built utilizing advanced industry techniques and standards and can provide storage of multiple types of fuel. It is planned and built in conformity with the latest applicable safety and fire codes, local laws, and international engineering standards. SKA’s oil storage facility provides uninterrupted 24/7 fuel supply to our clients.
SKA Energy will provide and install fully bunded, approved diesel storage tanks at point of need, whether in remote well head locations or in high density, central operating zones. Each storage tank can come with a full complement of options, including service attendants, security features
and full environmental compliance.
Safety and security are paramount in all our operations. SKA Energy has an uncompromised record of operational safety and security. All of our diesel storage equipment is 110% bunded in accordance with current environmental guidelines. Tanks & bowsers are approved for transporting diesel on the highway. We can fit a wide range of dispensing equipment including electric pumps, flow meters and automatic shut-off triggers. With adherence to industry best practices and strict compliance to regional regulations, SKA Energy implements continuous operational improvement programs that ensure both the integrity of our procedures and operational transparency.
